Scotch Rocks®, which have a three-year shelf-life, are now available in America where they will retail for about $8 a box, each of which contains ten three-by-four-inch trays, each with four ice cubes. Scotch Rocks®, adorned with the Douglas clan blue and green colored tartan, are imported by DeMedici Imports of New York City and are being rolled out nationally to a broad variety of retail outlets from June 1, 1999. Scotch Rocks® are particularly relevant today given the dynamic growth of bottled waters that demonstrate consumers demand for clean, authentic, even stylish and exotic waters. It is expected that many will also demand the same level of purity in the ice cubes they place in their favorite beverages.
