Campanini Rice
For three generations Campanini has produced
excellent Italian rice. Campanini is a small specialized
riseria where each production step is under the supervision of a
family member. Campanini rice is natural and does not
undergo any chemical treatment. To help the consumer we
provide here information for judging quality rice.
A good rice has
the following properties:
It absorbs well the liquid condiment
Each grain remains consistent
It is not sticky

varieties:
Campanini Carnaroli Superfino
Rice
This rice has a long and tapering grain with a
central side pearl, not very wide. It cooks uniformly
without overcooking and amalgamates well with condiments.
It is excellent for Rice Salad, Pilaff rice and slightly less
creamy Risotto. It cooks in about 16 minutes.
Campanini Vialone Nano Semifino
Rice
The traditional rice of Mantua and Vento region.
It has round, half-long grain, with central wide pearl. It
can absorb twice its own grain weight in liquid condiment and
for this reason it is the ideal rice for true cream Risotto with
vegetables, mushrooms and meats. Cooking time is about 15
minutes.
Campanini Arborio Superfino Rice
This rice has a very wide and very long grain
with a central wide pearl. Arborio is the most well known
Italian rice variety. it cooks in about 14 minutes.
During the cooking the external part of Campanini's Arborio
cooks more quickly than the central part which stays "Al Dente".
It is very suitable for Risotto. Its high starch content
gives Risotto firm textures.
