Ingredients:
- 1 LB Fresh tuna
- Golden and black sesame
- Soy sauce
- 1cc. Sugar
- Lemon zest
- ½ cup Water
Preparation:
Time: 1 Hour & 20 Minutes
Yield: Serves 2-4
- Add the Safinter saffron to 1/2 cup of hot water and let it soak for at least 15 minutes, then allow it to cool.
- Mix the soy sauce with the sugar, lemon zest and infused saffron.
- Cut the tuna into long loins (square or rectangular) in block shapes. Then cook briefly on a hot griddle, just for a moment on each side.
- Carefully remove the tuna from the griddle and place it in a bowl without leaving any empty spaces. Generously baste it with the marinade and leave it for at least an hour, turning it halfway through the process.
- When it is time to serve, remove the tuna from the marinade and place it on a plate covered with sesame seeds.
- Serve cold, thinly sliced and accompanied by the soy sauce from the marinade, which is mixed with the cooking juices.
