- 1 teaspoon raw sugar
- 1 teaspoons sumac
- 2 oz Cognac
- 1 oz orange liqueur (such as Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)
- ¾ oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- Orange twist for garnish/ optional sugar rim
- Mix the sugar, sumac and fleur de sel together in a small dish. Rub a slice of orange around the rim of a coupe glass. Rim the glass with the salt blend. Put the cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice into a shaker and fill with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
